Hi guys,
I'm having multidrop problems with a POP3 catch all account.
My fetchmail is as follows:
# Put here each user config
set postmaster "mark"
set bouncemail
set no spambounce
set properties ""
poll mail.mydomain.com
proto pop3
user "user"
pass "pasword"
to 'steve'='steve' 'neil'='neil' here
The problem I'm getting is that all mail is being dropped in user mark's
mail account a sample as follows:
>From mark(_dot_)kidd(_at_)btinternet(_dot_)com Sun Oct 13 22:26:16 2002
Delivered-To: mark(_at_)localhost(_dot_)mydomain(_dot_)com
Delivered-To: user(_at_)mail13(_dot_)maildomain(_dot_)com
Date: Sun, 13 Oct 2002 22:21:09 0100 (BST)
From: mark(_dot_)kidd(_at_)btinternet(_dot_)com
To: neil(_at_)mydomain(_dot_)com
Subject: 20
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
X-MAILER: talk21.com WAS v2
X-UIDL: 2>Q!!Z>F"!d/Y"!:#8"!
X-Fetchmail-Warning: recipient address neil(_at_)mydomain(_dot_)com didn't match any
local name
twenty
So what am I doing wrong, I've read the manual about eight times and thats
just today.
I've also trawled the mail archives and tried localdomains specification
but then the mail gets bounced back by maildomain.com server for looping.
First question - version of fetchmail? Second question - what mail server
are you using?
If your mail server supports "mydomain.com" as a domain and recognises a
user "neil" then you should be fine. If you can't configure that then try
setting "smtpaddress" to be a supported domain.
Please DO NOT send me ANY email directly unless it's a privacy issue.
Reply-to mangled to assist those who don't read the above.
