Hi,
I am really new to fetchmail so I apologise for any silly things I may say
in
advance.
I have the following problem:
Whan I retrieve my mail from one server (pop.adsl.ya.com) with fetchmail,
the
messages come with no attachments (such as png or jpg images). I haven't
noticed this with any other servers. I am too ignorant to know if this is
the
problem with the server or with fetchmail. However, KMail, retrieves
messages
with attachments from the same server correctly. Maybe I am doing something
wrong?
Are you 100% certain that there are attachments to these emails? Are you
100% certain that those attachments are missing?
Below is the transcript of a test session done with fetchmailconf. I later
retrieved an identical message with KMail: its size is 16.8KB.
Is the server giving wrong size? Then how is KMail able to download all of
it?
Ideas?
fetchmail: 6.2.1 querying pop.adsl.ya.com (protocol POP3) at Fri 09 May

1 message for grzegorz(_at_)ya(_dot_)com at pop.adsl.ya.com (17358 octets).
Mail server says that the email is 16.9 KB (roughly)
No errors appear, so fetchmail has done it's job and the entire email has
been passed to your SMTP server. Time to look at your postfix
configuration. Check your mail log (/var/log/mail/*) for any errors.
Please DO NOT send me ANY email directly unless it's a privacy issue.
Reply-to mangled to assist those who don't read the above.
