I've just set up Fetchmail once again due to the large pile of spam
that has started to arrive in my mailbox. I thought Fetchmail and
Procmail might sort out some of my problems. So, back to Pine once
again :)
Most of my mail downloads. Only problem is this one...
.....1 message for r.ibbotson at mail.zetnet.co.uk (1429 octets).
reading message r(_dot_)ibbotson(_at_)mail(_dot_)zetnet(_dot_)co(_dot_)uk:1 of
1 (1429 octets)
.fetchmail: SMTP error: 450 <r(_dot_)ibbotson(_at_)localhost>: User unknown in
local recipient table
not flushed...
This means that <r(_dot_)ibbotson(_at_)zetnet(_dot_)co(_dot_)u>k has received
some mail and
he can't download it or flush it from the server. I've tried to change
the .fetchmailrc a few times but still get the same or an error
message which says that IMAP is not supported. The relevent part of
.fetchmailrc is ...
"poll mail.zetnet.co.uk via mail.zetnet.co.uk
user 'r.ibbotson' there with password 'xxxxxx' is
'r.ibbotson' here"
I've also inserted a pop3 value into the lines above. Sees the mail
but doesn't download it or delete from the server. SuSE 8.2 and
Fetchmail release 6.2.1+POP2+RPA+NTLM+SDPS+SSL+OPIE+NLS. Doing
'fetchmail -V' reveals..

Delivered-To lines will be kept (dropdelivered off)
Messages will be SMTP-forwarded to: localhost (default)
Single-drop mode: 1 local name(s) recognized.
Any help greatly appreciated. I'm not very good at Fetchmail
configuration :)
