Sorry for annoying
Situation:
We've got a shared email account for our firm, so emails for every
employee is there in this mail box.
I've setted up an email server running on Debian GNU/Linux (3.0r1) and
Courier Mail Server Suite and tried to fetch the mails from the shared
email account an distribute over couriers smtp. The smtp works as i
tested it.
But now i'm running into problems configuring fetchmail because i wan't
fetchmail changing the header as it is for "is
schneider(_dot_)bruno(_at_)xy(_dot_)com
here" (this i tried for me successful) becaue loss of the recipient will
fail my distribution.
Finally my question: is that a multidrop fetching or not?
I've setted up a mail server on my own to test the situation:
Courier:
Mailbox: bruno(_at_)mcbrown(_dot_)ch
Mailbox: test(_at_)mcbrown(_dot_)ch
Aliases: test -> test(_at_)mcbrown(_dot_)ch
test1 -> test(_at_)mcbrown(_dot_)ch
test2 -> test(_at_)mcbrown(_dot_)ch
test3 -> bruno(_at_)mcbrown(_dot_)ch
/etc/fetchmailrc
poll 195.141.179.64
aka mcbrown.ch
no dns
proto POP3
user "bruno"
password "XXXXXXX"
is * here;
Above config runs in smtp error because fetchmail add's a header like
Jun 6 09:30:43 nephila courieresmtpd:
error,relay=::ffff:127.0.0.1,ident=fetchmail,from=<FETCHMAIL-DAEMON(_at_)neph
ila.mcbrown.ch>: 517 Invalid domain, see
<URL:ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/rfc1035.txt>
Could every one tell what i do wrong?
