Actually, your problem is more likely to be this line:

fetchmail: SMTP< 501 Bad address syntax
From my understanding that is from when fetchmail tries to non delivery the
message to the originator. But before that there was a 501 Bad address syntax
on the original attempt to deliver the email locally, this time on the MAIL
FROM which of course uses the same bad address as the RCPT TO would for the
NDN.
In other words, your multi-drop settings aren't correct.
I don't use multidrop.
