Run in daemon mode and set the interval really short (ie "1") and
you'll get something close to what you're after.
Keep in mind that your ISP may object to this however.
p.s please mark a CC to me also as the fetchmail list has a problem
sending me mails.
You may want to check your subscription (see the URL below). If
you've had problems with main reaching you in the past you may have
had delivery suspended automatically (and ISTR that you were
unreachable for a while with a full mailbox).
