Hi
my fetchmailrc looks as follows :
50 000 lines of :
poll <ip> protocol pop3 username "username" password "password"
smtpname "username" smtphost 127.0.0.1 keep
the username is in the following format :
un(_at_)domain(_dot_)com
Does the error always happen about the same point?
Not at the exact same point but around 1200ish.
How many kByte is it there ?
If I count 128 Bytes for each entry, it will be around 153 kBytes
and for 50.000 around 6 MBytes.
And, do you really mean ~1,300 remote POP accounts? If so, what do
you mean by 50,000?
there's 36000 in the one file, every ~1300 odd ( >1100 but <1400ish )
it dies, and refuses to connect to the smtp server anymore.
Why do you need to fetch from 50.000 Accounts ?
Only SPAMer do this with auto-generated E-Mails on Freemail-Services
(they generate one e-Mail for each SPAMed victim and then they check,
whether the victim has answered or not)
Thanks.
Greetings
Michelle
