Sigh.  I agree that these were two of the more contentious results
of the meeting, but I disagree with both of them, and neither of
these two are the solutions that were discussed at Atlanta, no
matter how flawed people may think that process was.

If the use of encodings on types `multipart' and `message' are not banned,
then I am no longer interested in the work of this group.  I am interested in
what is reasonable to implement, not fantasies.

However, we already agreed to wait for Greg's polling letter, so I guess
I will.

I can't wait.  I've wasted enough time on this group.  If you're going to go
off half-cocked with unfeasible specifications that almost nobody will
implement, fine.  Those of us who are interested in implementing something
real will just go off and form their own group.
