I guess you are concerned about chinese romanisation of X0212.
Yes, I do not know why my friend did that, and I think
it may not be of much use.
On the other hand X0212 may be a more chinese oriented character
set, being a *supplementary* Japanese character set, but I do not
think it will be used by chinese people.
