Re: Portable eol's....1991-12-23 12:40:23I suggest that the quoted-printable description in RFC XXXX be amended to say that a hard line-break is always means "0D hex followed by 0A hex". In other words, foo bar and foo=0D=0Abar are identical. The hard line-break is preferred when encoding nearly-ASCII text because it is more readable. Keith
