Masataka,
please tell us what ISO-2022-INT-* is all about ...
Both in theory and in practice.
Strongly profiled ISO 2022 described in draft-ohta-text-encoding-01.txt
designed with the experience on ISO-2022-JP [RFC1468] and supported
by emacs editor.
My understaning is that ISO-2022-INT-*/MIME positions are not
either/or but potentially complementary.
MIME specificatioin says that default charset of NON-MIME RFC822
message is not US-ASCII, which should change.
Default charset of MIME message may still be US-ASCII.
I have seen no reason to conclude that he detest's MIME.
I'm neutral to MIME charset but favor some feature of MIME.
Austin> We are going to use MIME in Sweden and nothing you can
Austin> say or do will have the slightest effect on that decision.
I have no intention to force Swedesh some encoding. But different
encoding between News and mail will be a real pain.
