Gentlemen,
We are not.
Anyway, first of all, you are generating noise. You should stop meta
discussion and concentrate on technical ones.
Please stop posting a rash message. Before you say something on
ietf-822, please subscribe you on it first and understand what
ietf-822's functionality is and what's going on.
Ietf-822 ML now, is an informal mailing list with the name of IETF.
Dave patiently explained time to time that ietf-822 working group
decides only label for default charset of each country. ietf-822 is
not a appropriate for internationalization.
As several of the participants (including some non-Japanese) shows
interests for internationalization, it's IETF's way to interpret
that the ML is appropriate for such discussion.
Please understand that nobody on ietf-822 attacks ISO 2022.
That's simply untrue.
They just
say that they can't decide ISO 2022 as a standard. If you just say "We
Japanese use ISO 2022 now", it change nothing at all.
Before starting meta discussion, you should understand the technical
content of RFC 822 and MIME.
Lacking such understanding, your attetude is quite arrogant.
Otherwise, unsubscribe by yourself and get out of here.
Get out.
