N messages beating up the .com servers, plus M messages beating up on
the .net servers, plus P messages beating up on the .edu servers, plus
Q messages beating up on the .uk servers etc. is quite a different
matter from N + M + P + Q + ... messages resulting in beating up on the
root name servers. As Keith has pointed out, that's a show-stopper.
