It may be a nice model to say that nothing should be added to
the message-headers (except "Received:") after submission.
However, there are lots of headers which are added in this
way, all the "List-" headers, all the "Resent-"-headers,
spam-control-headers, etc.

"List-" and "Resent-" headers are already standards, spam-
control-headers will probably soon become standard.

If one wants to separate the originally sent header from
such added "cruft" maybe the best principle would be
to order the headers. There seems to already be a de-facto
standard that "List-" and spam-control headers are added
below the headers existing at submission.
