If anybody needs it, I have already developed a domain name ``splitter''
that splits any given domain into two parts, i.e.:
1) a prefix, and
2) a suffix consisting of (a) a domain name label belonging to
some specific organization followed by (b) a reserved
(geographically or otherwise) domain name.
Given an FQDN such as x.y.z.international-widgets.co.uk, the splitter
will split that as follows:
x.y.z international-widgets.co.uk
