I would be very interested in seeing this deployed and am willing to do

I am ready to provide the m4 file [cf/feature/domain-whitelist.m4 for
sendmail 8.12] required for generating sendmail.cf capable to test presence
of specific A record (e.g. 127.0.0.2) - no source code patches are
required.
