Obviously there's a way do to this.
Nothing can bullet proof anybody, particularly in the US legal climate.
But being transparent and honest about listing criteria can do a lot to
shift most of the onus on the list _user_ who has made a conscious
choice to use it and accept responsibility for it.
After all, if Seth published a "random number BL", announced it exactly
as such with big red "you're an idiot to use this" banner all over the
web pages, just how successful do you think someone [sh|w]ould be suing him?
