I don't think DKIM should preclude MUA signing of authored content.
It doesn't. If the MUA wants to apply an S/MIME or PGP signature, it
can do so, same as always.
Since we already have those two signature systems, it's not obvious to
me what the benefit would be of adding their function into DKIM.
