Thinking this over some more, I realize that "the problem I'm
complaining about" is _not_ related to "the problem you guys are trying
to solve".
If A sends an email to B, who really doesn't want it because he is
doing another job now, so he sends it to C, it doesn't matter
_for_your_purposes_here_ whether he forwards it, resends it, or has his
local office email server forward it without him ever seeing it.
Similarly, if B sees a way to cause trouble for A and C, then he
(being an Evil Programmer, or able to hire such) can send an email to C
claiming to be a forwarded or resent post from A.
All you guys are trying to do is come up with a way for C to be sure
that the email he gets came from B. You are not, in any way, trying to
say anything about any alleged original email from A.
Now that I've recognized this, I'll shut up. Thanks for helping with
my education. Someday, I'll be able to help. I promise.
