No, they're not. They one of many suppliers to our customers. Our
customers are people who send and recieve mail.
The requirement to publish large numbers of ADSP records is a barrier to its
widespread adoption, at least its adoption in a way that provides broad
coverage for domains. This can be addressed with tools, but the requirement
to add tooling to achieve good ADSP coverage is also a deployment barrier.
Perhaps, although as I've said, reducing the work for DNS toolsmniths from
N changes to N-1 changes doesn't strike me as as a very good rationale for
a long term gross hack. If the history of SPF is any guide, should we
ship ADSP with this hack, people will start claiming that all domains must
change their naming conventions so they're only two levels deep.
