I think so, or at least the character set should be specified, especially 
if the subject line can be set.

I would really like to limit everything to UTF-8 if that's feasible.

In the original draft there was an if statement around the vacation,
that seems redundant if you are going to include that check in vacation
itself.

And they've been remvoed in my working version, which I will probably
post soon.

I have a strong preference for this.  It makes scripts more portable and 
more idiot-proof.

You mean which mailbox to write to?  Vacation is a command that does not
modify the delivery status, so presumably, there's an implicit keep...

I think that that is very important, all of the users in Ericsson have 
2 addresses, some several more. Without the ability to specify the 
aliases I don't think that sieve's vacation will be used here.

We have that feature too.  I'd like to mandate that vacation is smart
about it, but provide ways of clueing it in to more stuff.
