*sigh*

I have provided data that shows that SPF is not a problem in
practice. You have provided nothing but handwaving.

Yeah, I have a degree in computer engineering and I worked for many
years on a 3d-cad package for structural engineering. Engineering is
not a foreign concept to me.

What I have done by researching SPF's impact on DNS, collecting data
and then doing (simple) statistical analysis on it is exactly what the
above definition of engineering says: I have applying scientific and
mathematical principles to *practical* ends.

I have shown that both in theory and in practice, SPF makes reasonable
use of TXT records. Having looked at the actual usage of TXT records,
I think it is very easy to argue that SPF makes the *most* productive
use of TXT records (at the domain level) as has ever existed in all
the many years that the TXT record has existed.

Please stop handwaving and start providing hard data about the
problems that SPF is/will cause. It is not enough to find isolated
cases, you need to show that these problems will be wide spread enough
to outweigh the benefits.
