Since I added an autodetect to minipgp, it wasn't much of a leap to add a
pipe/fork mechanism. It accepts armored, encrypted, compressed or
literaled input and goes all the way to plaintext. Using SSLeay 0.9.0,
the simple benchmarks indicates it is 50% to 100% faster than PGP 5.0 for
linux. Interestingly enough, dearmoring proved to be a major bottleneck.
The rest (about 80%) of the speed difference was not due to anything I
did, but to Eric Young and Tim Hudson's work in speeding up SSLeay.
