 Nowadays, AT&T patents are used in active, non-defensive
litigation.  The problem is that companies change much faster than
deployments these days.

US's pro-patent policy has been corrupted the world. US companies
descended Japanese companies many times by this policy. Nowaday,
Japanses company behave overreacting protection in patents. That's
true ;-<

I don't understand why so many people ignore GPL/BSD license source
code by patenter of Camellia.  It is same situation of some device
drivers in Linx kernel. What's different?
