Notation data means in OpenPGP additional data associated with a
signatures (key or data signature). This is basically the sdame as
certificate extensions and signaed attribuest in X.509.
Note that notation data is not the same as a user ID but data associated
for example with a user ID. Grep the gpg man page for "notation" to see
how to use them in that application.
