Yes. Each proposed criterion is roughly equivalent to: "Don't

Maybe we can boil this down to a one-liner: Please don't write mail
software if you can't understand the fscking specs.
Sorry if I'm not being productive. I'm irritated at broken mail
software, and I'm irritated that we need to produce an "RFC For Dummies"
document for the authors of said software.
Hmmm ... I wonder if producing a conformance suite might be a solution
to this problem.
