Re: SMTP QoS2001-06-27 11:44:00So if we specify a priority mechanism that's reasonable and implementable it will deploy rapidly and widely. probably so. the real trick is to specify it in such a way that it doesn't tend to block delivery of other mail. (in other words, one of the problems with a priority queueing system is that naive implementations tend to starve tasks with lower priority - and many MTAs have naive queueing systems)
