When you synthesize it ONLY include A records and go from there. When you create your synthesized MX as if it was FQDN MX 0 FQDN create it as if the FQDN A/AAAA referenced by the MX was

FQDN A IPv4A
     A IPv4B


even if the FQDN A/AAAA is really

FQDN A    IPv4A
     A    IPv4B
     AAAA IPv6A
     AAAA IPv6B
