I was able to quickly test this under TBIRD connecting to a test MSA
server, and sure enough, it will stop at the first 4yz error:

I created a black listed address with a 450 response.
The TBIRD MUA issued an popup and put you right back into the editor
to make any corrections.
I don't recall if Outlook behaved like this or not. Probably did.
