BTW - do these companies just add all the IP addresses they own to their
SPF records? Do Google really have ~230,000 mail servers?
No, but they certainly have thousands, way too many to enumerate in SPF records.
Just as a matter of interest - wouldn't it be worth them using macros in
their includes? eg 'include:%{i4r}.spf.ebay.com'. This could cut down
drastically on the level of nesting.
Yuck. That feels really fragile.
