John,

You are inventing a controversy that requires pretending the document 
did not have significant, previous discussion, over the course of 
February, and extensive supporting commentary.
You appear to also be ignoring the fact that the document is targeting 
Experimental status through the Independent stream, not standards track 
or even IETF approval.
I'm sure the drama you've created has nothing to do with the pushback 
you received yesterday.  Still, the coincidence is unfortunate.
