I want to make sure the IETF community is aware of the upcoming Global
Multistakeholder Meeting on the Future of Internet Governance in Brazil,
especially the need for some volunteers from the technical community. It is
clear that the tight timelines for this meeting will require expedient
processes. The time constraints are not ideal from a planning perspective,
despite that situation, it is better for us to contribute to the /1net
initiative (see http://www.1net.org/content/en) to ensure appropriate
representation from the technical community.

The IAB is asking the IETF Community to contribute to the "The Internet
Guild". I did a quick search. I did not find any useful information about
the Guild. Does the IAB have any information about the Guild and, if so,
could it share it with the community?
I do not know anything about the Internet Guild, but I do know that ICANN has
taken the lead in getting this web site launched for the global Internet
community.
