There are only 54 days until the IETF meeting in Dallas and the meeting and
overflow hotels are nearly full. Six hotels within one mile of the Fairmont
Dallas are identified below. There are certainly others nearby that are
discoverable using your favorite search engine, mapping or review app.
1. The Fairmont Dallas is the meeting hotel. There is very limited availability
in the regular and student blocks and certain nights may not be available. The
so-called "Student" rate rooms are located near elevators and may be slightly
smaller than the regular Fairmont rooms. There is only one queen bed in these
rooms. The “Student” rooms are available to anyone. The Fairmont is the only
hotel with the IETF network in the guest rooms and public areas.

2. The Magnolia Hotel Dallas is the overflow hotel. The Magnolia Hotel Dallas
is located .5 miles from The Fairmont Dallas. $135 USD includes up to two
complimentary breakfasts per day and in-room high-speed Internet access. Taxes
are NOT included in the above prices.
