Nope, that's not soon enough. Peoples' flights are often booked by then

my strategy is often the following when involving intercontinental travel:
a) arrive to attend IEPG Sunday
b) leave sometime on Friday to arrive home on Friday.
Travel is booked 45+ days prior to the meeting, so anything on Friday will just
be missed, and I will properly use the WG lists to provide feedback.
In the case of locations in the states, eg: Dallas, I can usually get home the
same day and can book much closer to the meeting date and not end up with a
rear middle seat impacting QoL.
Of course, this is my own strategy. I know many people who book early based on
upgrades or to get travel authorization for business class seats approved.
