You can write to me at
johnl(_at_)m(_dot_)183(_dot_)57(_dot_)64(_dot_)in-addr(_dot_)arpa and it will
work, but I suspect that's not what you had in mind.

I don't see anywhere that there might be an MX record other than us
passive aggressive rDNS operators.

Looking at the digests you linked '80-'84. Does anybody still use .arpa
domains for their email?
