What this might mean is the mail-ng mail pickup logic may need to add
another Received line indicating when it was picked up by the MUA or the
Presumably the MUA itself could make a note of when it picked up the mail,
without intervention by any other part of the system. Some current MUAs do
exactly this, allowing the message list to be ordered by the timestamp at
which the message was added to the local mailstore.
I don't see that this places any requirements on the mail protocol or message
format.
