I was wondering if its possible to rebuild a selected web archive. For
eg, I have following:

2004-10
2004-9
2004-8
2004-7
2004-6

Is it possible to rebuild on 2004-8 onwards? I had a look at web-archive
but could only figure out the option of -rebuild.

To rebuild a specific archive, specifiy the archive name:

  <mharc-root>/bin/web-archive -rebuild archive-name

If you only want to rebuild specific periods for an archive, the current
version does not support that. I have made changes to my local copy
that supports this, but have not checked it into CVS yet (I encountered
some file version problems when moving the CVS tree from Savannah to
a mhonarc.org system, and have yet to resolve it).

If you are game, I have placed a version of mharc that
supports rebuilding specific periods. It is available at
<http://www.mhonarc.org/tmp/mharc-.tar.gz>.
(Yes, the filename is correct).

The bundle should install like a regular distribution.

To use the period feature, do something like:

  <mharc-root>/bin/web-archive -rebuild -period 2004-08 -period 2004-09 \
                               -period 2004-10 archive-name
