That probably means that the load of your machine is so high that one
mhonarc session is not done in time for the next, and the next times out.
I solved this problem by changing in the code so that mhonarc says
die 75;
instead, which will queue the mail for processing later.
It could also mean that one mhonarc session died without removing the lock
file. Then you'll have to remove it by hand.
I notice a double slash before .mhonark.lck and wonder where to start
looking. I use a trailing slash in my .procmailrc file
An extra slash means nothing.
