For mail I guess that RFC 822 has the only definitions.
RFC 822 is quite old, and has a US-centric view with the respect
to the timezones mentioned.
As I mentioned in a previous message, ideally no acronyms would
be used. However, that is not the case. So obtaining definitions
of acronyms in use is beneficial to users.
