Earl and the mailing list people,

Sorry but I don't have a url to a sample mailbox file that I can provide
you. However, I have included as an attachment a sample of the archive
that I am working on (testarch.mbx). The archive represents about 170
messages but the verion I attached only has six messages. I ran mhonarc
on it and got the same results I did before with the larger mailbox
file.

Thanks for the help on the LITEMPLATE and TLITXT resources. Would you
point me into the right direction on creating hyperlinks to
attachments. IE, eudora line in message reads: attachment converted
to..........(would like to have mhonarc put hyperlink in here to pdf,
doc, zip, or whatever file is attached to the mesage)

Regards,
Steve Crandall

FCC Notice of Inquiry / Ultra-Wideband Working Group mailing list
=========================================================================

Sorry for the previous message. I thought that this was an automatic
listserver that would respond to a help command with directions on how to
get archives of past traffic on the listserver group.

I'm new to UWB technology and am looking for history and status on the state
of the technology. Past listserv traffic may be one avenue of education.

We are currently looking for low cost technology (both non-recurring and
recurring cost) that can support bandwidth of ~100kbps over several miles
with few cells. The system has potentially 100's of mobile units controlled
from a central site. The system needs to be low cost and available for
prototype demonstration now.

If someone could give me insights into how to get previous listserve traffic
or information on solutions to the above problem, I'd be very interested.

Steve

Does anyone know of someone working on a UWB detector,
an instrument which might be used to localize a UWB
source without prior knowledge of its exact operating
parameters?

Obviously, a spectrum analyzer would be of limited
usefulness.

Such a detector might be used to verify proper operation
of a UWB device--maybe by FCC for investigative purposes.

In my opinion, a process for documenting violation
of power or bandwidth limits should be defined and
operational before permitting UWB commercial operation.
