Out of curiosity, i sit possible to run mhonarc on a Mac OS X server?
It should be, since OS X provides a unix-based operating
environment.
mhonarc does have code to deal with older MacOS environments,
but I do not recall if anyone has confirmed mhonarc usage under
OS X. I do not own any Mac's so I am unable to confirm.
Yes, mHonarc does run on the mac, as I've installed it and used it to manually
archive large mail folders for other use.
There's a GUI front-end plus the executable available here:
<http://liepins.org/en/mac/macmhonarc/>
This is entirely self-contained, so no other downloads need to be done.
You can also install MHonarc as a standard command-line tool, since OS X
supports Perl just fine. There MAY be some perl modules that would need
installing from CPAN, I cannot remember what ones I needed to install when I
tried that version.
