[mh-workers cc'd for the benefit of those mh-workers that don't
subscribe to comp.mail.mh.]
The question you recently asked in mh-workers is directly or
indirectly answered in the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) document
that comes out once a month in the newsgroup comp.mail.mh (as well as
news.answers). You can find it by searching for "FAQ" in the
subject lines.
If you cannot find the FAQ on your system, complain to your news
administrator that he is prematurely expiring articles with explicit
expiration dates. In any case, you can obtain it yourself:

via mail:
Each of the following addresses is following by commands which
should be included as the body of the message.

send /usenet/news.answers/mail/mh-faq/part1
mail-server(_at_)cs(_dot_)ruu(_dot_)nl

Also, in general, if you can't find a FAQ in a newsgroup, you can
can always check through the Usenet hierarchy on rtfm.mit.edu (via
ftp or mail) or point your Web browser to
http://www.cis.ohio-state.edu/hypertext/faq/usenet.
So that I can improve the FAQ posting, if you received any answers
that you think are better than the one in the FAQ, please forward
them to me. Or, if you had looked at the FAQ already and didn't
find what you were looking for, please tell me how I could have made
the information easier to find. Thanks!
