Does it work now that we've actually fixed locking? I recall that
was an issue before, and AFAICR it only worked because we incorrectly
kept going even if we failed to acquire a lock.
Oh, good call. I suppose I'll have to bite the bullet and upgrade to RC1
from the February pull. I'll get back to you on the compatability in a
few hours.
gzipped tar file directly in the distribution, or expand it out. Seems
a bit weird to put a gzipped tar file in a gzipped tar file.
Does not matter to me. The tarball is for distributability,
although I suppose I could have made it a sharchive :-P
