At that size, even if your local server accepts the message,
some hop along the way will almost certainly croak.
If you cannot find a web or FTP server to host the file,
and Dropbox or Google Drive are also off the table,
you might try using split(1) scripted with mhmail(1) -attach
You could also try 'sharutils' http://www.gnu.org/software/sharutils/
which can deal with splitting and emailing files, even binary ones,
for reassembly by the receiver. I still use shar; not because I need
to. But, because the script I wrote back in the UUCP days is still
working via cron and I can't see fixing what's not broken.
