I didn't figure out how to tell it to index all the folders in ~/Mail.
Maybe "mh=..." would work, not sure.
This is what I've been using for ages and it seems to index all the folders
in ~/Mail save for the ones specifically excluded:
mformat=mh
base=~/Mail
mh=*...
omit=old/spam**:sp:bounce:drafts:search
mfolder=search
database=~/Mail/mairix.db
