Re: Pretty Good Privacy

Our corporate lawyer advised against using PGP without a license
since that would infringe the RSA patent.

What I wonder is whether someone could either:

1.      buy a license from RSA to use PGP

or

2.      use the RSAREF package to make a PGP-look-alike

Does anyone out there know?
