whether EDE2 is good enough. I think it's our responsibility to say
something useful in this arena. If EDE2 is good enough, then we ought
not be shy about using it. If EDE2 is not good enough, then we ought
not promote it.
Regarless of wheather EDE2 is "good enough" today, will it last as long
as EDE3? It seems likely that EDE2 will be compromised long before
EDE3 is simply because of it's smaller key size.
Let's avoid any unnessesary "planed obsolesence" and stick to the
strongest encryption methods reasonably available, ok?
