I a previous post I stupidly said:
log file entries of form:
procmail: Locking "new/IN.sysadmin.lock"
procmail: Error while writing to "new/_zVAQnemesis"
[repeated 7 times - default setting?]
procmail: Lock failure on "new/IN.sysadmin.lock"
procmail: Executing "rcvstore,+new/IN.sysadmin"
procmail: Assigning "LASTFOLDER=rcvstore +new/IN.sysadmin"

Folder: rcvstore +new/IN.sysadmin 2642
procmail: Notified comsat: "drs@:rcvstore +new/IN.sysadmin"
The relevant recipe is
:0 w: new/IN.testing/$LOCKEXT
* ^Subject:.*test
| rcvstore +new/IN.testing
Any clues as to what is going on?
Of course this doesn't really make a lot of sense - maybe pasting in the
correct bit of the log file might help
procmail: Locking "new/IN.testing/.lock"
procmail: Error while writing to "new/IN.testing/_bWEQnemesis"
procmail: Lock failure on "new/IN.testing/.lock"
procmail: Executing "rcvstore,+new/IN.testing"
procmail: Assigning "LASTFOLDER=rcvstore +new/IN.testing"

procmail: Notified comsat: "drs@:rcvstore +new/IN.testing"
Now, I have write access to all the directories below MAILDIR, which doesn't
change, and they all exist.
But the question still is, does anyone know what is going on?
cheers,
dave
p.s. Thanks to the two people who pointed out the above typo in the original
message.
