First, upgrade to senmail 8.7.3 or get the latest patched version of
sendmail from sun. The version that ships with 4.1.3_U1 has some major
security holes in it.
Second, you'll need to use sendmail.mx on your mail server (if you
haven't already - just a datapoint)
third, you'll most likely need to edit sendmail.cf to fix this problem.
It's not a procmail problem. Having not worked with the Sun shipped
sendmail in a while (favoring the latest Berkeley versions) I'm sorry
that I can't be of more help.

I recently setup procmail as my Mlocal delivery agent to deliver mail to

    Mlocal, P=/bin/procmail, F=lsDFMShP, S=10, R=20, A=procmail -td $u

Here's how procmail is installed:

    # ls -ld /bin/procmail
    -rwsr-xr-x 1 root 90112 Nov 5 18:00 /bin/procmail*

And here's the version information:

    # /bin/procmail -v

Here's a sample header from a test mail I just sent myself:

    Return-Path: <rholland(_at_)foo>
    Received: from foo.domain by bar.domain (4.1/SMI-4.1)

I'm running the version of sendmail that Sun ships with 4.1.3_U1:

    Connected to bar.
    Escape character is '^]'.
    220 bar.domain Sendmail 4.1/SMI-4.1 ready at Sun, 17 Dec 95 12:19:05 PST

Has anyone seen this problem in the past, or have any idea how I can fix it?
Thanks!
