For some reason gnus does not like delivering messages that contain
nulls at the end of the file. More specifically procmail's log entries

Note the nulls. I also get a tone of nulls in the body which confused
the hell out of gnus. Basically GNUS won't deliver the mail.

What happens is sometimes the body of the message usually contains a
_hell_ of a lot of nulls like this.

Now, it seems that gnus simply will not deal with messages that look
like this. I have gnus/procmail/ncftp/sendmail all taking care of my
mail delivery and I'm trying to track down who's at fault. I don't
think it's gnus as procmail's log files contain the nulls. Hmm, I'm
starting to suspect ncftp (does this look like the posix tail bug?)
Anyway, can anything be done with GNUS to ensure that even if the
message contains nulls that it still will deal with it. NOTE: When
this last happened there were _no_ Incoming files present.
